It only takes seconds. No knives, no blades, a spinning metal plate pushes the
food against a tough grind ring fixed to the wall of the food chamber. The waste
is ground safely and simply to fine particles which then pass through small holes
in the plate and out in suspension through the normal drainage pipes.
